Wan Wan House: Authentic Taiwanese Fare for Under 100 Baht at CentralwOrld

On an evening when popular spots like Katsu Midori and Sushiro were completely packed, we stumbled upon a fantastic alternative: Wan Wan House. Opened in August 2025, this small Taiwanese stall is a total lifesaver for anyone looking for a delicious meal that doesn’t break the bank.

Finding a satisfying meal at CentralwOrld for under 100 Baht is a rarity, but Wan Wan House delivers. Their menu features several rice and noodle dishes starting at double digits—perfect for a quick solo lunch or a budget-friendly dinner.

What we ordered (Total: 357 Baht):

  • Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup (169 Baht): Hearty and flavorful.
  • Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice (79 Baht): A classic staple at a great price.
  • Taiwanese Fried Chicken (109 Baht): Crispy and seasoned just right.

The Vibe Located in the Beacon Zone on the 7th floor (right in front of MK), this area is much quieter than the main restaurant rows. If you’re tired of the crowds and long queues, it’s a peaceful spot to enjoy your food. As a nice bonus for the season, the staff even gave us some free angpow (red envelope) packets!

If you need a reliable, affordable “Plan B” that tastes like “Plan A,” give this place a try.

A passionate advocate for independent and solo travel, I traded life in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the vibrant streets of Bangkok, Thailand. This shift is all thanks to a "chance encounter" in 2009 that led to marriage with my Thai husband. I currently split my time between Bangkok (my main base) and Kuala Lumpur for family—documenting the unique blend of a Malaysian life lived abroad.
