Tino’s Pizza Chosen By The Little One

The little one and I had a Kung Fu Panda 3 movie date at GSC Mid Valley, a little treat for her recent participation in the 11th Malaysian Open National Figure Skating Championship.

Looking for a place to makan (eat) before movie, and she suggested Tino’s Pizza for dinner, and yiyi (aunt) agreed unhesitantly. She has eaten here before, and said they serve good pizza.

Unknowingly to me then, Bryan Loo, the man who brought Chatime to Malaysia, is behind Tino’s Pizza. This pizza joint serves Neapolitan-style pizzas, baked at extreme high-temperature 500°C.

Pizza is here!

Taking photo of the pizza, the little one slowly positioned herself into the camera lenses … haha, so I had to take the pizza’s photo with her partially visible.

And then she asked whether I want to have photo with her face fully blocked, and promptly put on her signature hat. Funny girl.

She ordered Margherita pizza (RM 21.90, M size) for sharing, and I had a glass of Tino’s Iced Fruit Tea (RM 8.50). A tad expensive for a glass of drink, but worth the price.

Tino’s Pizza is located at the lower ground floor, at The Gardens Mall, near the stretch of food joints.

I would like to try their oval-shaped Focaccia pizza and perhaps their dessert pizza next time.

Good choice, ZH, Tino’s Pizza is yummylicious!

Not Your Typical Tourist

A passionate advocate for independent and solo travel, I traded life in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the vibrant streets of Bangkok, Thailand. This shift is all thanks to a "chance encounter" in 2009 that led to marriage with my Thai husband. I currently split my time between Bangkok (my main base) and Kuala Lumpur for family—documenting the unique blend of a Malaysian life lived abroad.
