1-Baht Photocopy Hunt: Where to Print in Bangkok (2026 Update)

Who would have thought a simple photocopy would be so hard to find in the Land of Smiles? If you’ve ever lived here, you know the struggle: you need a stack of documents for a visa extension, but your neighborhood shops are either non-existent or charging “convenience” prices.

If you are searching on Google Maps, the magic words are ร้านถ่ายเอกสาร (Raan Tai Ek-ka-san)—literally “shop that takes a photo of documents.”

📍 The New “1-Baht” Hub: Fortune Town (Rama 9)

1 baht photocopy Rama 9 Bangkok

As of March 2026, Fortune Town has become my go-to spot for high-volume copying for my Non-Imm O Visa 2nd-year extension.

  • Location: 2nd Floor (IT Mall side), near the 7-Eleven.
  • The Shops: There are several clusters here. I visited Docuserv, which is popular with locals and known for its 1-baht (A4 B&W) rate. Be prepared for a wait—when I was there, the staff was mid-way through a 100-page order!
  • Other Options: Bangkok Acard (directly in front) also confirmed they charge 1 baht.

📍 The Phloen Chit Alternative: Mahatun Plaza

If you’re closer to the Sukhumvit area, New S.C. Copy Center Co., Ltd. at Mahatun Plaza (right by BTS Phloen Chit) remains a reliable staple for 1-baht copies. It’s a lifesaver if you have a massive stack and don’t want to trek to Rama 9.

⚠️ Lad Phrao / Chatuchak Updates (March 2026)

Kodungpap, my regular shop in Lad Phrao has sadly ceased operations. I revisited in late March 2026 at various hours (10:00 AM and 5:00 PM), and the shutters remained down.

I was lucky enough that there’s one photoshop which comes with photocopy service, just 5 mins walk from my place. If you’re in the same neighbourhood at Ladprao or Chatuchak area, the shop is located next to 7-11 in between Ladprao Soi 20 and 22, and it’s directly opposite Maru 15 Condo. From MRT Ladprao, take exit 2, turn left and walk straight ahead, you’ll see the 7-11.

They charge 2 baht per copy for A4-size Black & white print – pricey, yes,. But, it’ll reduce to 1 baht per copy with a minimum of 20 pieces copy order. For color copy, A4 size – price list states 5-20 baht.

I have also seen convenience shops like Lawsons at MRT Phra Ram 9 providing this service, and here’s a blog mentioning 7-11 convenience stores.

Not Your Typical Tourist

A passionate advocate for independent and solo travel, I traded life in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the vibrant streets of Bangkok, Thailand. This shift is all thanks to a "chance encounter" in 2009 that led to marriage with my Thai husband. I currently split my time between Bangkok (my main base) and Kuala Lumpur for family—documenting the unique blend of a Malaysian life lived abroad.
