Fashionable Desserts At Quivo @ Kate Spade, Pavilion

My friends and I stumbled upon Quivo, looking for dessert, after a tummy-filling lunch.

Entrance via street level

At that time, I didn’t know that Quivo is part of Valiram Group, and can also be accessed via Kate Spade. Quivo has 2 entrances: my friends and I entered through the other entrance at street level.

Swanky deco

We were told by staff that Quivo is Valiram Group’s first venture into F&B. No wonder it can be accessed via Kate Spade, since it is also a brand under the Valiram umbrella.

That piqued my interest … not because I was impressed with Quivo’s dessert, but because of its linkage to Kate Spade. It’s a fashionable restaurant to see and be seen.

Insta-worthy dessert

As we were still full from lunch, we ordered Ultimate Oreo Brownies (RM 20), to share amongst the group. The brownies is served with Snickers ice cream and caramel sauce.

Actual vs Poster

Blame it on the poster with blown-up size of the brownies. We didn’t expect the dessert to be so dainty, sooo much smaller than their poster. Of course, visual is for illustration purpose, right? Besides, fashionable cafe and fashionable people are more si man (proper), so of course it has to be dainty-looking lah.

Not Your Typical Tourist

A passionate advocate for independent and solo travel, I traded life in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the vibrant streets of Bangkok, Thailand. This shift is all thanks to a "chance encounter" in 2009 that led to marriage with my Thai husband. I currently split my time between Bangkok (my main base) and Kuala Lumpur for family—documenting the unique blend of a Malaysian life lived abroad.
