Revisiting The Wallet-Friendly Humble Chef And Its RM5 Pasta
Few years ago, my office was located at Pusat Bandar Damansara. Due to its close proximity, The Humble Chef at Plaza Damansara used to be one of my frequent makan place (dining place) with my TFB team members.
For the uninitiated, The Humble Chef is well-known for their RM 5 pasta, and other wallet-friendly dishes. A meal that won’t break the bank, that’s The Humble Chef.

I have not been there for ages. Few days ago, I revisited them with my elder niece. I was pleasantly surprised that their price is still the same. Of course, except for the additional 6% GST.

On a weekday 8pm+, it was full house with perpetually queue. Since the menu is not extensive, the queue moved pretty fast. Order and pay at the counter, and wait for food to be served. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Taste-wise, it still tastes the same to me. Nothing fancy, just simple, but flavorsome cooking. At that price, at that neighbourhood, I don’t have much to complain. I saw some negative tweets on The Humble Chef’s twitter page, but really, it still tastes pretty alright to me.

They do have other dishes such as fried laksa and pita, for non-pasta lovers. There are also other dishes such as chicken chop and lamb chop (RM 20 + 6% GST), etc, etc on their menu board.

Thanks ZE for the dinner treat.
