Café Amazon Experience: Elevating Thailand’s Favorite Coffee Brand in Ari

Following soft openings and phased rollouts earlier in the year, the flagship Café Amazon Experience in Ari officially celebrated its Grand Opening in late May 2026. Dropping by on a late weekday morning after the recent Bangkok floods for a much-needed breather, I discovered a serene sanctuary away from the gloom.
Café Amazon is owned by PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR), a subsidiary of PTT Public Company Limited. For many of us living in Thailand, Café Amazon is a familiar roadside staple. My husband and I usually only frequent their outlets during road trips across the provinces, grabbing a quick pitstop at gas stations for our go-to order: the signature “Amazon Yen” (iced sweet coffee). In the city, however, where independent specialty cafes sit on every corner, we rarely think of stopping by a standard branch.
That is precisely why the Café Amazon Experience is such a masterstroke. It gives city dwellers and tourists a compelling reason to visit—there were so many foreign visitors when I was there, successfully elevating a beloved homegrown brand into a world-class coffee destination.
🏛️ Architectural Topography: A Vertical Coffee Journey

This massive, multi-level concept serves as Café Amazon’s first-ever global experience store, designed under the ethos of “Amazon for Everyone.”
The interior is engineered as a vertical topography. An architectural atrium anchors the center of the building, featuring a curved specialty coffee bar inspired by the organic geometry of a coffee bean. Terraced amphitheater seating and open voids draw visitors upward through specialized floors dedicated to roasting, baking, and specialty teas—seamlessly blurring the lines between production, education, and consumption.
Floor-by-Floor Breakdown

- Floor G: Found & Found & Standard Bar Quick-service counter and lifestyle retail area for on-the-go visitors.
- Floor 1: The Experience Bar, Bakery Factory & Merchandise Zone The heart of the ground experience. The Experience Bar focuses on a “Five Senses” specialty coffee concept, flanked by a live Bakery Factory serving fresh, exclusive pastries found only at this flagship location. Nearby, the Merchandise Zone stocks premium home-use coffee gear, apparel, and collectible goods. ☕️🥐
- Floor 2: Tea & Chocolate Bar & Roasting Experience Dedicated to premium cocoa creations and specialty matcha drinks.🍵🍫 Adjacent to the bar is the Roasting Experience zone, where you can observe live coffee roasting, sample single-origin bean aromatics, and snap photos against an industrial backdrop. 🏭📸
- Floor 3: Common Space (Co-Working Zone) A bright, open co-working floor outfitted with tables, power outlets at most seats, and private meeting rooms. 💻🔌
- Floor 4: Inspiring Space & Exhibition Zone A hybrid gallery and relaxation area featuring interactive displays that showcase coffee bean sourcing across Thailand, local farming initiatives, and international award displays.
- Floors 5 & 6: Brewave x Ari (Dining & Rooftop Bar) A collaboration dining space and rooftop lounge operating from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM midnight. As the premium bistro taproom arm of Brewave (the prominent Thai craft beer brand and licensed brewpub chain), this space offers craft beverages, delicious meals, and panoramic neighborhood views. The atmosphere is relaxed with soft background music, making it an incredible spot for a date, meeting friends, or an after-work sunset gathering.
🚶♀️ My Firsthand Walkthrough & Tips

Taking the elevator directly to Level 4, I started by exploring the exhibition space before scouting for seats on Level 3. Even on a late weekday morning, many of the prime co-working spots equipped with plug points on Level 3 were already snatched up.
After securing a table, I slowly made my way down to Level 1 by the stairs. Unsurprisingly, Level 1 was the liveliest hub, bustling with local coffee enthusiasts and many foreign tourists taking in the Experience Bar. While plug points are available here too, it was a bit too busy for my liking.
What I Ordered

Not quite in an adventurous mood to explore the many signature drinks only available at this outlet, I kept my order classic:
- Piccolo Latte (120 Baht): A beautifully balanced, concentrated drink using a ristretto shot over steamed milk. Rich, smooth, and delicious—ristretto uses the same amount of coffee grounds as standard espresso but half the water, making it a punchier, less diluted drink than a regular latte.
- Premium Butter Croissant (75 Baht): Served warm. It was pleasant enough, though definitely not the best croissant in town. Next time, I might opt for their heavier savory offerings or photogenic desserts.
Menu Highlights to Try Next Time

While waiting at the collection counter, I took photos of some fancy signature drinks ordered by other customers. The friendly staff explained the menu in English:
- Pistachio Espresso Cloud (160 Baht): A layered creation featuring rich espresso, nutty pistachio flavor, and a velvety cold foam topping.
- Dirty Latte (130 Baht): A cold-drip style beverage featuring a hot espresso shot poured directly over chilled, sweetened cream milk.
- Savory & Sweet Bakes: The bakery bar offers sandwiches made with bagels, croissants, focaccia, and sourdough. For sweet treats, they serve Cinnamon Rolls (100 Baht), Pain au Chocolat (115 Baht), and an array of delicate pastries perfect for an afternoon dessert run.
💡 Practical Visitor Tips

- Wi-Fi Strategy: Your Wi-Fi access code is printed at the bottom of your receipt and provides 1 hour of access per device. If you plan to work or hang out for a few hours on Level 3, consider splitting your orders (e.g., getting a coffee first, and a bakery item later) to receive multiple Wi-Fi codes!
- Outdoor Breather: After working indoors for a while, head out to the outdoor terrace sections on the upper levels to catch some warm air and neighborhood views.
- Parking Rates & Tiers:
- Standard Rate: Free for the first 30 minutes (fractional parts of an hour count as a full hour), then 100 Baht/hour.
- With 300 Baht Receipt: First 2 hours free, then 50 Baht/hour.
- With 500 Baht Receipt: First 3 hours free, then 50 Baht/hour.
- Motorcycles: Follows the same receipt validation tiers, but subsequent hourly rates are 20 Baht/hour.
- Location & Transit Access: While not physically attached to the skytrain station via a skywalk, the flagship store is located literally right next to BTS Ari Exit 2, making it exceptionally easy to reach by public transit.
